Autumn purifying treatments
Autumn is the season traditionally dedicated to sowing, when the new school year begins, everyone goes back to work, and planning for cultural and social initiatives begins, that we must prepare our body, start carving out another ring in the trunk of our life, tracing the start of a new cycle of rebirth.
It is important to eliminate any substances that might impede or slow down the process of regeneration. The continuous renewal of the body’s cells and tissues, the production of food metabolism waste, the introduction of toxic substances such as additives, preservatives, food dyes, food processing residue and medications, environmental pollution, fluid build-up and the slowing of vital activities due to a sedentary lifestyle, along with the progressive accumulation of muscular tension, all make it necessary to eliminate substances, waste, and toxins that otherwise progressively accumulate, hindering, slowing down, or impeding normal vital processes and the continuous process of regeneration.
The liver, kidney, intestine, skin, and excretory organs are thus mildly, but effectively stimulated, channelling waste substances and excess fluids outside the body.
The plants traditionally used for seasonal autumn purification include artichoke, dandelion, fumitory, chicory, radish, burdock, and birch.
